1920's Bussing

In 1930, the license for the production of buses was sold to the Italian company Alfa Romeo. At the same time, Büssing took over the Automobilfabrik Komnick AG plant in Elbing, and the production of cars there ceased. But under the aegis of the new owners in Elbing, the company, which was renamed Werk Osten, continued for some time to produce tractors and road tractors. Since the mid-1930s, Büssing has only built bus bodies in its “oriental plant”, with chassis supplied from the headquarters in Braunschweig.
One of the first Berlin three-axle double-deckers buses Büssing D3 built-in 1927 with a 6-cylinder 80 hp engine. A body made in ABOAG workshops.
